Did not keep my trust

Well, I thought I would give this guy a shot for a simple replacement. It took about three orders from the nearby Napa auto in order to finally get the correct part. When it came to settle the bill I felt like he shouldered his frustration with the auto parts company onto me, demanding that I pay for their incompetency and then spinning the situation as though he were doing me the favor. He told me finally that he... view more would bill me just 1/2 hr for labor which would have been $37.50 (as I confronted him on his unposted labor rate). He said his rate was $75/hr, ""foreign auto"", he added... somewhat distrustingly. Instead I was billed for $60 labor plus parts. He did not provide me with a receipt for either the service nor part that was ordered, insisting that I pay extra since he was not including taxes on the income that he received from me. When asked if I could write a check he said no and then I offered to retrieve cash from a nearby business. He said rather accusingly that ""You should have been prepared,"" to which I rolled my eyes thinking that he did not have the part in the first place even though he told me to stop in at a particular hour. In short, it was a lesson to be learned... so thank you GO Auto for the less on life and the service, but I don`t feel comfortable returning. I do not feel comfortable with your ""friends"" hassling me for extra work to be done on my car nor for personal information that does not pertain to them. Somewhat of bullies.
