Hello to all people looking for quality auto repair in Troy, NY. If you are reading this, cross this shop off your list.. I brought my car here and felt a good vibe, they quoted me 350.00 for the repairs on my car and although 50.00 higher than other shops, I chose DeRUBERTIS due to the "good vibe" and pay extra for a quality repair.. After my car sat on the street for 5 days it finally entered the shop. Repairs... view more went smooth due to the fact that I supplied all of my own part.. However, the mechanic, unable to dial a phone with a different area code was unable to prepare me for a 600.00 repair bill just for labor... Please remember I supplied all parts all I needed was a quote for labor.. If you choose to take your car to this business and the bill is more than their quote, they will threaten to impound your car at your expense if you refuse to pay.... Consumer beware of this shady place of business!!!
