I don`t trust them. My car fai...

I don`t trust them. My car failed inspection because of the emergency brake so I took it to Bourne. They had to repair my emergency brake twice because the first time after they repaired it, it failed inspection again. Vermont law states that if you fail your inspection twice, you need to pay for an additional inspection - they said this wasn`t a law and they could just do it. In fact, they had offered to inspect the... view more car both times (the first time we declined because we had already paid for an inspection at another place and just needed to bring it back with the repairs made). I`m so glad I didn`t take them up on their offer either time because at least by going to another place, I was ensured the job was actually done. They also tried to make me pay a "discounted" price when I came in to complain that they hadn`t finished the job and made the comment, "I don`t know where you drove it" after we had left the shop the first time as if to say it was our fault the brake was still broken. It was only after I brought up the safety concerns and the fact that I`d already paid them once to fix the problem and they failed in doing that, that I was told they would fix it for free. I also looked up the average price of fixing an emergency brake and have spoken with other mechanics - come to find out they also over charged us. So not only did we pay top dollar for a botched job, they tried to make us pay again. So disappointed on many levels. I will not return.
