Do not ever bring ur car near this place

I had to bring my car back there three times. This shop is a joke. Now they told me the warranty is over I pay over $ 2500 for nothing.

I recently had got my transmission rebuild but was still noticing problems with the gear shift and the car dragging when i go uphill. then i also got my hub bearings replaced and the guy told me my sway bars needed to be replaced. Prior to that i never noticed any issues with the sway bars. after i picked my car up i started to notice when i got on the highway my tires shook very badly which never happened before. i ... view moretook the car back and now he told me my passenger tire rod needed to be replaced but never mentioned i would need a steering alignment afterwards. i picked my car up and noticed that my steering wheel was to the left almost half way. i called the shop and he said oh that will be an additional 80$ but my i don`t understand why it wasn`t done at once and included in the price. so i called around and got a second opinion from 7 different places and they all said that he should have definitely mentioned it would need a steering alignment because know that my steering is off it becomes a safety issue while driving. This is just crazy and the fact that they did me so wrong after i spent over a thousand $ so know my only other option is to sue because i feel like he put me and my daughters life in jeopardy after i explained to him i use the highway alot and he totally disregarded that.

Find another reputable place to service your transmission. I`ll be taking my car back to Chester Transmissions for what will be my fourth visit in 14 months. Initially i took my Pontiac Grand Prix because the transmission stalled. My car wouldn`t go forward or reverse. A co-worker recommended CT, so I had my car towed there. They charged me $1800 and this amount was non-negotiable. I picked my vehicle up when t... view morehe repairs was done and about 5 months later I noticed that my transmission was slipping. I took my vehicle back to CT and the service worker told me my transmission fluid leaked out because he failed to change the transmission gasket. I told him it didn`t make since to drop a transmission to rebuild it and not change the gasket(s). According to him he fixed it. In december 2012 on the same day my 14 month warranty would expire, I brought my vehicle in to CT again because of the same problem, a slipping transmission. This time the service guy told me it was due to a different gasket that needed replacement that he never replaced. I picked my vehicle up on 1/5/13 to notice that my steering and suspension doesn`t seem right. I`m not certain what the problem is butI will be back at Chester Transmission bright and early on Monday very disgruntled. Chester Transmission, Not a good place to take your car.
