WARNING:Shame on you Princeton VW!

I had a verbal agreement on the price for a car with this dealer, and placed a $1000 deposit on the car while I awaited delivery on a specific vehicle. When the car arrived and it was time to finalize the deal, the dealer went back on their original agreement, asking close to $1,000 more than the agreed price. In fairness, the car I put the deposit down on is high in demand, but the dealer went back on their word so ... view morethat they can turn a higher profit on the same vehicle now there is more buzz and limited supply. By the way, be aware that the dealer will quickly take your deposit check, but don`t expect them to be as fast when its time to refund it. There are many other dealers in the area who will get a shot at my business. Its a shame I live 0.5 miles from Princeton Volkswagen and will have to find an honest dealer elsewhere. Shame on you, Princeton Volkswagen/Audi!
