These folks are righteous, honest people! I first took my Oldsmobile to another transmission shop (I won`t mention the name, but it starts with A-A-M) and was told that I needed a complete rebuild at a cost of two thousand bucks (minimum). They also charged me $40 for this advice. I then took my car to Northeast Transmission for a second opinion. They performed a diagnostic (free!) and informed me that it was an engi... view morene problem and NOT a transmission problem. They advised me to take it to an engine shop for a tune up and even gave me the trouble codes. Northeast Transmission saved me $2,000 and didn`t charge me a dime! My advice - if you have a transmission problem, go to them FIRST. They won`t screw you around.
