Very Poor Service

I took the original flathead engine off of my 1949 Mercury to Schottler to have it rebuilt. After almost two years it was still not finished. Finally, after having to threaten a lawsuit, Eric got it finished. He was supposed to deliver it to the shop doing the restoration on the car. After the engine was done he refused to deliver it. In addition, he would only release the engine to me after I paid in cash. He... view more also put on the wrong water pumps and also did not properly install the thermostats so the restoration shop had to fix both of those problems. To date, Schottler has refused to refund the money so I am taking him to small claims court. I currently have the engine installed but it is overheating.
