I first met Dave in 1982. I have had Dave repair Mercedes, BMW, and Porsche vehicles. He is honest, fair priced and does the highest quality work I have seen. I no longer live in the Western suburbs but go out of the way to take my cars to Dave and always will. Dennis G

I found Close Encounters via a Google search some months ago. I inquired there about some rust around my car`s gas cap. Dave Schele explained to me everything I never thought I wanted to know about rust, and in the end, he wouldn`t take my money to fix it because (as he put it) it wasn`t in my best interest. (Though he did tell me how to ?ˆ?stop the cancer?ˆ? of rust on my own.) I couldn`t believe he wouldn`t take my mon... view moreey for a repair! Months later, I was in a car accident. I never forgot the impression that Dave left on me, so I made sure that my car was sent to Close Encounters for repairs. I can`t say enough about how well I was taken care of. Dave Schele is a ?ˆ?no-sh!t guy?ˆ?! He is honest, and he does everything in the customer`s best interest. The quality of his work is top-notch, and the service is speedy. Close Encounters was able to repair something that seemed irreparable, and now you would never know my car had been damaged at all. Dave Schele at Close Encounters is truly a rare find.
