i saw a "97" gmc sierra1500 for $4,499 on the internet,when i got there the sign on the vehicle was posted $4,999. i mentioned it to the dealer & was told that it would go for price on internet.The pick up needed some type of electrical device so i could not test drivet hat day.I was told it would be ready in a few days. I was called & told to come in for test drive & did as so. then i inspect... view moreed the pick up underneath & noticed it had no fly wheel cover which is nescesary in freezing weather to prevent corrosion.It was also missing a bed liner and the car had thousands of scratches all over the pick up sides.There was also a under carriage guard missing on quarter panel. Also the shocks looked rusted & worn out beyond normal.So i thought i could talk them down a bit from the $4,499, after mentioning all these problems I was told the price is $4,999 & that the price on internet is for cash buyers only.I don`t know how they can get away with that. anyway the price was final even after pointing out all the problems.they agreed those were problems that needed to be addressed & still said the price would stand at $4,999 plus tax &plates would come out to way more than kelley blue book value!! I was misled not once but twice into coming in for that old pick up & the dealer tried to swindel me into buying at outrageous price. "THEY ARE SKY ROCKETING THE PRICES OUT OF THIS WORLD I GUESS THATS WHY IT IS CALLED ROCKET AUTO"
