We are Altamore Automotive Services providing quality auto and transmission service. We are ASE certified. We offer services on foreign & domestic, automatic, clutch, 4-wheel drive, CV joints/fly wheels. Towing is provided as well as free estimates. We are located one block north of State Street on Town Hall Road in Belvidere. We are open M thru F from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM until noon.

My daughter just moved to Chic...

My daughter just moved to Chicago and had tire problems in which the rear tires had flat spots. I was told by 2 different shops that the suspenion needed to be replaced. I called Dempster and talked to the owner, Richard. He said he would check it out and afterwards told me the suspension was fine but the rear axle needed alignment. I`m in Missouri and we don`t know anyone in the Chicago area so I was nervous about s... view moreending my daughter to anyone for car repairs. Richard could have replace the suspension and then told me we needed an alignment but he was honest about what needed to be fixed and saved us a bunch of money. I think we found a great place that my daughter can take her car for repairs and based on this initial experience I would recommend this shop to anyone needing auto repairs. What peace of mind.
