I bought two tires online and ...

I bought two tires online and brought them in for mounting and balancing. Goodyear is a partner of the online company for installations. The receptionist at first indicated that they would not handle tires purchased elsewhere "because we only keep a small number of parts on hand", but then upon learning where I had bought them, she asked for the receipt for the online purchase. I could not believe it! I... view more had to drive back home to print a copy off of my computer (no, they could not help me with this at the store). So I left the vehicle. Two hours later I get a call. They tell me that they will not mount my tires because they do not have the manufacturer`s recommended speed rating--this despite the fact that the replacement tires are identical to the ones that came with vehicle new from the dealer`s lot. So I picked up my vehicle and drove to Walmart where I received excellent service with a smile, at 2/3 the price. Never again will I visit Goodyear Auto Service Center.
