Vinh Phat is, perhaps, the finest mechanic in San Diego and definitely one of the best in the country. Don`t let his modest shop fool you. I would honestly give him the following ratings: Diagnostics *****, Honesty*****, Price ***** Passion***** Heart***** (He`s one of the few mechanics you can be confident paying whatever he asks.) There are not too many true Master Mechanics left in the U.S., but Mr. Phat i... view mores one -- and a true gentleman to boot. (I`ve really only met one other mechanic with this kind of passion for cars and customers - that was European Precision in Dallas, TX. If you go to him, you will not be disappointed. This review is by a customer who has had US, Japanese and British cars fixed perfectly by Mr. Phat. In fact he fixed problems that literally 5 other mechanics flubbed -- Including the dealer in the case of our American car! (We`ve lived in over 5 cities and have had perhaps 30+ car repairs.)
