My wife`s car died near M&G au...

My wife`s car died near M&G auto in Alhambra and was towed there by AAA. I asked Greg of M&G what was wrong and he said he would run a diagnostic test on the alternator. I went to recover the car and was charged $50 for alternator diagnosis. He had no paperwork to show any kind of test results or if he even opened the hood for that matter. He told me the alternator was no good and demanded his $50 before ... view morereleasing the car to my tow truck driver. His price to replace the alternator was a couple hundred dollars more that it should have been so I opted to do it myself. I removed the alternator and took it to an alternator shop in LA. The honest guy at the atlernator shop told me that he could not test the alternator because the connections were burned off of the alternator from a short circuit. He told me that the guy who said he ran a test was a liar! You don`t test a burned alternator, you just replace it! The replacement alternator was $50, the same amount stolen from me by Greg at M&G auto repair. SAVE YOUR MONEY, DON`T GIVE THIS DISHONEST MAN A PENNY. I

Stay Away From This Place - LIars and Cheaters

See my review about Mission Test Only Center, the sister company. I can not believe this place is still in business with all the cheating/overcharging going on at this place. The owners are not honorable. They refused to re-test my smog check when their policy states we will perform 1 free re-test within 30 days of the initial test. They basically laughed at me and said that I will have to pay again for a whole n... view moreew test. I called Visa to dispute and they said they needed the shop to double charge me in order to remove one of the charges, otherwise they will claim they performed a service. Who wants to give them any more business after that? I can not believe such a dishonest shop still exists in this day and age. Liars and Cheaters.
