Wow I couldn`t believe it

I took my car in to get smogged, it sat in the same spot for 2 weeks then he told me I had to drive it a few days then I brought it back and it sat for 4 more weeks in the exact spot ( the seat wasn`t moved n I`m really short), n they told me I needed a 1200 part , that was only 172.00 in store . Then when I asked for the smog read out he said on I didn`t hook it up I was guessing . Very bad business

Ask for estimates! A smog test should take no more than 15-20 minutes. They will pretend to work on your car for almost an hour and then charge you $75.
