I won`t take my car anywhere else.

I disagree with the other review. I think they are the best! I`ve had my share of auto repair nightmares, so I did my research before I found Laguna Niguel Auto Center. They have an A+ Better Business Bureau rating and they deserve it. Not only are they friendly, clean, and knowledgeable, but they are HONEST. They won`t charge you for something you don`t need. They`ll even tell you if it`s something that can ... view morewait or if there`s a cheaper way to handle it. I`ve been their customer for about 10 years and I will never go anywhere else. If they tell me I need it, then I need it. I may be able to save a few bucks somewhere else, but I won`t get the service and the peace of mind that I get with these guys. And don`t get me wrong. When I say that I`m paying a few bucks more, that`s what I mean. Their prices are fair. And you get what you pay for. I`m a stay-at-home mom with four kids and we don`t have money to waste.

Good for some things

This place is reliable in terms of replacing faulty parts that can only be acquired from the dealership and doing it right the first time, if you know exactly what the problem is and it is a major, but straightforward repair.(Leaks can be a bit more challenging, because when your car is old, a mechanic may think it comes from one place when in fact it is leaking from multiple places.) A great place to get an oil cha... view morenge and any quotes for additional work. The work they`ve done so far, they`ve done it well. However, as a car ages and racks up quite a bit of miles, they do not advise you, when you ask, whether certain repairs are absolutely necessary given that the part may outlast the car. And they don`t budge when you ask whether it really makes sense to put in higher quality more expensive parts in an old piece of junk more fitting for a new car. I like straightforward mechanics who will tell me that replacing a part at this time is a waste of money and unless it gets worse, don`t bother and are understanding of my specific needs, thus, if you have a car that has a number of issues going on, i.e leaks, noises, etc., SouthCoast Auto Clinic in Costa Mesa is excellent at maintaining older cars and advising you on repairs absolutely needed, because safety is always a priority. I have also seen BMWs, Mercedes and Lexuses and would consider taking my other car there once it is out of warranty.
