since 1967 I`ve been taking my car to Al Grimmett`s and I have to tell you I trust no one else with my cars. He won`t cheat you. He won`t try to sell you something you don`t need and if something still isn`t working after he fixes it, he does his honest best to make all things right. Best Mechanic, period.

I`ve been taking my car to John for three years now, and the service and speed are beyond anything I have ever experienced. I recommend everyone to them.

One of the best examples of the honesty and trustworthiness of this company is that when a friend was having car troubles, we took the car to John, and he looked at it for a couple of days. When he told us that the problem was one that they couldn`t fix there... view more, and that the car did indeed need to be taken to the dealer, John did not charge my friend one cent.

Can you ever really trust a mechanic??

Oh yes!! A good mechanic is hard to find, but a trustworthy, go to the mat for you mechanic who also has chops is even harder. About 5 years ago I lucked out with finding John Grimmet and his crew because they were close to work, but not a year goes by that he doesn`t prove himself to be a star in his domain. I`ve been told at a big name in L.A. repair guru that I needed a new clutch because its dangerous to drive... view more my car, John adjusted it and told me I had 2 more years...and he was on the nose. John later did the clutch and at a much better price. There are few things better than being able to leave your car with someone and trust that they will give you the real bottom line and help you with your options. Grimmet RULES!!
