An honest mechanic is somewhat of an oxymoron, these days.......we`ve been taking our cars to Applegate Garage for nearly two decades (as long as we`ve lived in Applegate). NEWS FLASH: this is the best auto mechanic in the Auburn - Meadow Vista - Colfax area.

My business relies on transportation.....if I don`t arrive on time due to a mechanical breakdown, my customers will definitely notice! Mike Schlender... view more (former owner) & Will (new owner) have been keeping our automobiles & minivans trouble-free for all that time.....knock on wood.

They will NOT fix something if it isn`t broken. I cannot count the times that the auto dealership will recommend a service that was totally unnecessary.........and I`ve taken the same vehicle to Will (or Mike previously).....and they were able to veto the procedure as not needed at the time. For this reason, we always take our cars & vans to Applegate Garage as soon as the warranty expires, so the dealership can`t rip us off!
