I just went in for oil change on 11-29-11 watched the guy check all my tires, add air, check my fluids. I picked up a nail on 11-30-2011 went to the nearest Discount tire to have it repaired. Discount told me my 2 front tires needed to be changed, they removed the back tire with the nail to plug it & found the tire was cracking along the side. I called Pepboys because the tires were to last 60 thous. miles & only had... view more like 25 thous. They informed me SORRY out of luck that the cracking is from WEATHER..
They never saw the tire. I will go their TODAY and if they fix this mess I will post the results. Right now I need 4 new tires that were to last 60 thous. miles and they are all bad with less that 25 to 30 thos. miles.
