Poor workmanship-refused to honor warranty

My Christmas present to myself was a brand new Class 1 Jasper motor. I was very happy the day I purchased it and even happier the day I called upon a friend and neighbor (Steve Anders) to install it. My happiness soon turned into a very bad and costly experience. The day I went to pick my truck up from Mr.Anders the "check engine" light came on as I was leaving his shop. I immediately turned around and retu... view morerned to his shop to find out what was wrong. Mr. Anders told me to drive it and it would work itself out. 1500 miles later, it was running worse than the worn out motor that came out of my truck and had consumed 3 quarts of oil. After numerous calls and trips to Anders Auto Repair I was finally told by Mr. Anders that I wanted something for nothing and that he did his job. All of this took place in 30 days. Mr. Anders claims to have a 90 day labor warranty. Every time I have ever taken my vehicle to be fixed it was until now. I finally took it to the Chevrolet dealer and the mechanics there agreed that they would have had it running right when I left. So the moral to this story is don`t go to Anders as his warranty is non existent and the quality of his work leaves a lot to be desired.
