Bad Bad Bad...
The title says it all. Nice enough people, not so nice of cars. After searching at several local dealerships, they made me feel like purchasing a vehicle from them was the right thing to do. The really convinced me I was going to be purchasing an excellent vehicle. Boy was I blind. I asked time and time again if it would be wise to purchase the year warranty instead of just the standard three month, and they sai... view mored, "Oh, no need for that, we stand by our vehicles." They reassured me that if there were any problems, they`d be more than happy to help, and they would continue to stand by thier vehicles, which at the time seemed great due to their in house mechanic. Well, about two weeks later I took the vehicle in to their lot, and showed them that my check engine light was on. First off, the mechanic did not know where to connect his computer to check to see what was wrong, I had to find the port myself. He then proceeded to turn the light off, and told me I hadn`t closed my gas cap all the way. So now that I felt completely embarrassed, I left, and the next day, my light came right back on. I took it back in, and watched over the mechanics shoulder as he looked at his computer to see what was wrong. He told me, he didn`t know what the problem was, his computer didn`t work with my car. I then showed him how to access more options, and we found my Oxygen sensors were out. They said they would be more than happy to help, I needed to come back because they had other vehicles they needed to get to first, and it would be a couple weeks later. I then came back, and they told me the same thing, come back later. So less than three months into my purchase, just outside of my warranty due to mileage, my timing belt goes out, and due to the pressure build up, so did my exhause valves. Apparantly the pulley on the timing belt was defective, and "must have been from the manufacturer, even though the mechanic, nor Gordy, had ever seen that. Prior to having that fixed, they told me, oh don`t worry, we back our vehicles, we`ll help you out, we won`t charge you for labor. I sure hope not, seeing as it took two weeks to have it fixed, as I had to bum rides from my friends and family. Upon completion, I go to pay, and he charges me labor, even though he said he wouldn`t. After th fix, there has been a tinging, grinding noise in my engine, and my engine doesn`t hold antifreeze seeing as he put the wrong kind in and shot my coolant system. Since then, I have avoided returning as much as possible, and have heard horror stories from many other people saying they bought piles of junk. Over the past nine months, I have had nothing but more and more problems with this vehicle, and now that I want to trade it in for something else, with as many problems as it has, its worth 4,000 less than what I paid for it, in less than a year, due to no fault of mine. I even took the vehicle back in December to see if they would buy it back, seeing as the major engine fix is done, it wouldn`t be needing it again for quite some time. I offered them 2000 less than what I had bought it for, and Gordy told me, "oh you know, with a big snow storm coming, I can`t have another vehicle on my lot for another of couple of days." I left him my phone number, and yet to hear back from him, over a month later. If he stands behind his vehicle as much as they say they do, I don`t see why it would have been a problem to buy it back. Especially since he could sucker someone else to buy it, and make another couple of thousand on it, on top of the loss I took selling it back. Overall an awful experience, and one of my few regrets in life. If they try to tell you, "we stand behind our vehicles" I`d be a bit wary.
