Good work higher cost
Work was good but why so many hours? Supposed to be 3 hours less but cars running better than it did. So thanks. Kinda. Lol

I have always had the pleasure...
I have always had the pleasure to work with Keith, Rick, and Don. Only one time did someone else recommend that I see another location. BIG MISTAKE. I am happy to be back with the Boys, and they take care of two very old vehicles. NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. Been a customer with Rick since 1969.

Hard to get a straight answer ...
Hard to get a straight answer out of these clowns. After a couple of phone conversations, a price quote, I set up an appointment and arrange a ride with a friend. I get there I discover they refuse to do the work. I had talked with them mulitple time about exactly what I needed. They kept saying yes until I was there, then they said no.

Great Customer Service / Treated With Respect
I recently had an experience where my car needed service. It had been `acting up"" for some time and I just didn`t know where to take it. A friend recommended Shorewood Auto. I live in a Northwest suburb and was hoping to find something closer to home but figured I`d give it a chance since I`m a single woman who has had numerous negative experiences with automotive service in the past and was glad to have a recomme... view morendation. I could not be happier with the results. Keith called me to advise me of the issues they had identified and provided with a breakdown of the costs -- and even followed-up after I picked-up my car to see if everything was fine. I can honestly say that this was the best experience I`ve ever had in getting my car repaired. They`ve got a customer for life!!

Worst Customer Service....
Also see reviews on Yelp - I believe after reviewing the other 2 reviews, Keith thinks women are morons...and that`s how he treated me as well. Unfortunately, the place I`ve been going to for years closed, and I never had a problem bringing my car there. I then brought it to Shorewood Auto Repair and said I needed an oil change and my car was making a noise...it was either the back brakes or shocks. I got a call f... view morerom Keith at work who stated it was my bike rack or the stuff in my trunk!!!! Well, I knew it wasn`t that, and I also had just put my bike rack on to ride my bike home after dropping off my car! I explained that to Keith, but was busy at work, so just thought I would talk to him when I got there. Well, he wasn`t there, and I asked the teenager, who was there by himself, if they at least checked the brakes. He said he didn`t know, but he believed so. He then said he`d have Keith call me, which Keith never did. I assumed it was okay, so I drove it out of town, and had my little nephews in the car. My nephews were very concerned about the noise, and then I was concerned that they were in my car! I dropped them off and when I got back into town, I went back there immediately. I had Rick, at Shorewood Auto Repairs, get in my car and simply drove to their driveway and he heard the noise. I then had to drop my car off again that evening. Keith called and was unpleasant on the phone and said it was my drums and some other stuff and if I wanted the noise fixed it would be $250.00, but I didn`t need it and I didn`t need new brakes for another 6,000 miles. I asked if it was safe to drive and he said yes. He did not tell me I would be charged again for them looking at it again. I then picked up the car and was surprised they were charging me. I would have been fine with it, if they would have apologized, but instead Keith was just arguing with me. I walked out of there so disgusted and will never bring my car back!

Worst Customer Service I ever received...
The car repair place that I`ve been going to for years closed, so I was looking to find a new place. I never had a problem with the other place. I read reviews and Shorewood Auto was close to my home, so I took it there. I needed an oil change and I had noise that I thought was either my back brakes or shocks. Everyone that was in my car also heard the noise and were obviously concerned when riding in my car. Ke... view moreith called me at work and said it was my bike rack or the stuff in my trunk!!!! I said what??? I just put the bike rack on before I had got there, so I could ride my bike home. However, I was at work, so I really didn`t have time to go into detail. I thought I would talk to him when I picked up the car. He did tell me that they did do the oil change and replace a valve. I picked it up and there was a teenager there by himself. I asked him if they at least checked the brakes and if they put the car up to look at the car. He didn`t know, but said they must have. I then drove out of town and had my little nephews in the car. They were asking what the noise was, and I was concerned to have them in the car. When I got back, I drove directly to Shorewood Auto and had Rick get in my car. I simply drove to the driveway and he heard it immediately. I then had to drop my car off again that evening to have it looked at again the next day. Keith called, and he was not pleasant on the phone. He said he could replace the drums and some other things that were making the noise if I wanted him too and it would cost me $250.00, but that I did not need new brakes for another 6,000 miles. I said, no, as long as it will be safe. I then went to pick up the vehicle and were surprised they were charging me to check the brakes. I explained that when I brought it in the first time that I thought they checked it and I was charged approx $70.00. I was talking to someone other than Keith - Keith got up from eating his pizza and was arguing with me. He asked if I wanted him to do work that I didn`t need. No, I did not, but I wanted what I asked for the first time, and I know that it was not a bike rack or stuff in my trunk making the noise. I left there in disgust. Keith continued arguing with me and was extremely unprofessional - I did pay and I would have been happy to pay again, if they would have at least apologized that I had to bring the car back in again. I guess if you`re a woman, be careful bringing your car there. They treat you like a moron.

I Highly Recommend
I knew I found a great place when Keith called me a couple days after they worked on my car to ensure everything was ok. I`ve moved to the southside of Milwaukee, but still drive up to Shorewood Auto to have them fix my car. LOVE those guys!

Would never go anyplace else!
I bought a used car and brought it into Shorewood auto for inspection. They fixed the car, and found some issues that we hadn`t planned on. They gave me estimates with each problem they found, and if they thought it was necesary to do the repairs immediately or if they could wait. After a few visits, and a continuing problems, they did inspections at no cost, and eventually recommended that we cut our losses and s... view moreell the car. They were always fair, honest, and went out of their way to fix a car that just was a lost cause--until they could see that it would cost us more to fix it, than it was worth.
I have since used them with other cars in our family and they are consitently timely with the callback of an estimate, do excellent work, and the prices are always fair. I highly recommmend Shorewood Auto.

Great Service
Our son moved to Milwaukee to go to school and when his car broke down I felt a little helpless being so far away. Keith was great, very friendly and professional. They fixed my son`s car and got him back on the road in no time. More importantly our son now knows who to call when he needs car repairs. Thanks!
