Thank God for Nelson`s Auto Service in Hartland. I have a 2007 Honda Accord that I was told by another repair shop needed a timing belt/water pump replaced at 70,000 mile check. I got a second opinion at Nelson`s Auto and boy was I glad I did! Rick took a lot of time explaining to me that that was an unneccesary repair at this time. Unfair, Typical Ripoff Mechanic Mentality

He quoted me 400$ for a part and install, had me tow it over to his shop with my trailer/car. when i got there he quoted me 515$ and said " would you like a diagnostic test too?" so i said " yes " he then informed me that it would cost another 95$ He then muttered with a sarcastic voice " or would you like me to just throw parts at it " so i agreed and said, Fine, ill take the 515$ + ... view more95$ test. he then walks away from my trailer, and said " just get it off the trailer and when your done come bring me the keys" as he returned to go sit down and watch television. i couldn`t get it off by my self, i tried but no luck, so i just drove away, this guy is a real tool and i will not ever be going down there again. oh and his "diagnostic test" is Hooking it up to a OBD2 Reader, Which You can just go to a Auto zone and ask to use theirs for free.
