I took my car to CTR because there was a loud noise coming from the engine. I called and explained what was going on and the lady said they could get my car in at 10:30. I asked how much it would cost and was told they charge $39 for a half hour of labor and assuming it would cost more to fix, that money would apply towards the fix. I showed up at 10:25 and the lady told me the mechanic had to run to Menards and he w... view moreould be right back. I took a seat and waited. The mechanic finally showed up at 10:45. He looked at my car and instantly diagnosed the problem to be the A/C compressor. He unhooked the belt which fixed the problem. The whole diagnosis and fix took less than 10 minutes. I`m very satisfied that the mechanic was able to diagnose and fix my car so quickly, but I`m also upset that I had to wait around for 20 minutes while he was shopping at Menards. That is not very professional on his part and they didn`t even apologize because I had to sit around waiting for him to return. Not to mention I was charged for a full half hour when in reality it took less than 10 minutes.
