... unless you want to leave frustrated, angry, and with a sub-par repair/paint job. Sought cosmetic repair of my vehicle after a minor traffic accident. Maaco Portland failed to complete a reliable estimate - the repair cost 500$ more than anticipated, did not account for multiple parts/ repairs. Maaco Portland failed to communicate with me during the entire duration that they had my vehicle - each telephone upd... view moreate was initiated by me, and involved a "suprise, something new happened and will cost more and take longer". Repair took many days longer than Maaco Portland had quoted. When finally finished, was returned to me missing pieces and with a clearly poorly done paint job - which had to be redone (Maaco Portland admitted to and re-did the paint job free of charge). Finally, days after repair - had to be emergently taken for repairs after the radiator hose came loose on the highway - putting my car and my life at risk. Independent repair shop consensus was that the hose was not replaced properly after Maaco Portland`s repair (the radiator had to be taken down and replaced as part of my vehicle repair - another previously unanticipated event). After car repairs and work time lost, went back to Maaco Portland with these complaints, who completely denied any responsibility for the faulty repair/ radiator hose replacement. Expected me to accept that this was simply a `coincidence`, did not offer alternative explanation for an occurrence that, even to an outsider/non-mechanic, was CLEARLY due to their faulty repair/replacement of radiator hose. Overall impression of Maaco Portland - dishonest, inexpert, irresponsible business people and mechanics.
