Seattle`s best Subaru mechanic

I discovered Superior Subaru Repair in 1997, when my `82 Subaru`s transmission was getting funky (not synchronizing into 2nd gear, etc). I called a bunch of shops who said they`d be happy to put in another used 1982 transmission, but that they wouldn`t be able to guarantee that it would be any better.

When I called Steve, he told me that he could modify my car`s the transmission mount to install a more durabl... view moree `85-`89 model year transmission. Since the only way to ""test"" a used transmission is to install it in a car, he actually installed three before he settled on one that he liked, and the bill still came out lower than his estimate.

I remained a regular customer there for the next 11 years, until my Subaru was damaged in a collision. Thanks to Steve`s excellent care, my car still ran great after more than 300,000 miles.
