Battery purchase for my car

My car would not start and I suspected it was the battery. After getting my car jump started, I headed down to Pacific Power Batteries, which a friend of mine recommended. Joe at PPB was very helpful and friendly. He tested my battery and quickly determined that the battery would no longer charge and needed to be replaced. Joe said he had new replacement batteries in stock but he also had a 2010 re-manufactured batte... view morery that was just as good. Joe`s words to me were, "Why spend money that you don`t have to?" I purchased the re-manufactured battery. Joe said he could install the battery for me for an additional $15.00 charge or I could do it myself and he pointed at the wrenches I could use to remove the old battery and install the new one. I opted to change the battery myself. After I got the replacement battery installed, my car started right up. Before I left, Joe tested my alternator for me and it was working well. My experience at Pacific Power Batteries was a very good one. Joe sold me a high quality battery with a warranty that was inexpensive. Joe went the extra mile to save me money. I highly recommend Pacific Power Batteries in Mt. Vernon to anyone who has a need to get his/her car battery or other batteries checked and replaced.
