In September of 2012, my husband and I bought a 2007 GMC Acadia from Apple. We are located about 3 hours away, but were told that the vehicle was accident free and in great condition. Upon arriving, there were a few things that didn`t seem right about the vehicle, but we were told that these items were very minor and that the owner said they were only a few hundred dollars to fix, which they knocked off the price. Le... view moress than 4 months later, I am sitting with nearly $8K in bills for an accident the vehicle as in before I purchased it, a new transmission being needed, and a timing belt needing repair. All of this could have been made right if Walt, the owner, felt the need to do the right thing and take my phone calls with questions about the poor condition of this vehicle. Instead, I was given the run around, lied to (Walt stated that GM would cover the vehicle repairs, which GM denies), and my phone calls still are not returned. Best of all, he actually suggested that I should drive the vehicle 3 hours to his location for him to take a look at. I have two small children (which Walt knows) and he expected me to get a vehicle I have been told not to drive because of the horrible transmission issues and drive 3 hours to him. Ridiculous!! I am seeking legal counsel for the documented emails I have from Apple Automotive stating the vehicle`s excellent condition, and the lie stating there were no accidents. Please beware!! Do not do business with this people.
