A young friend of mine purchas...
A young friend of mine purchased a 97 Dodge Caravan for his sister that has 3 children that needed a vehicle desperately. She didn`t have it 24 hours when she was taking it to someone to have it looked at. She got it 60 miles down the road to find it was not holding oil and broke down. He has tried to call the gentleman (John) he purchased it from and has gotten no response so far. We are hoping that the company ... view moremakes good on this purchase otherwise he has been advised to file suit, contact the Better Business Bureau, Consumer affairs as well as the State police to make sure the inspection is not fraudulent. There was also no Car Fax given to this young man on the vehicle, He was told it was the most dependable one on the lot by both John and his wife. Now we have a single mom with 3 children that has just acquired work and now has no transportation to keep the job. Who knows what this will cost to fix. This is no sob story but pure fact...

I take my car to Baines auto to be repaired whenever I have a problem. They do a wonderful job fixing it and getting it back to me in a short amount of time. I have had my car fixed there several times and have been very pleased with the service and the people working there. Their prices were affordable also. I won`t go anywhere else to have my vehicles repaired! It`s nice to know a place I can trust to do the job ri... view moreght and for a fair price!

The Dealer misrepresented hims...
The Dealer misrepresented himself as an individual when advertising the vehicle on Craig`s List. His advertisement for the vehicle indicated it ran and drove 100%, there wasn`t anything wrong with it, and it had a current inspection which would expire in Nov. 2012. At his dealership, he assured me he and his mechanics had checked out the vehicle and found nothing whatsoever wrong with it. Over the next two weeks, I d... view moreiscovered the vehicle had serious mechanical issues that would cost me far more than what I originally paid for it. In addition, the vehicle`s inspection decal was fraudulent, resulting in my having to bring in the VA State Police to resolve this issue. Both the inspection station, owned by a friend of the dealer, and the dealer deny any knowledge as to how this occured. The inspection station denies ever having inspected the vehicle and `has no idea how the sticker got there`. The dealer says he bought the vehicle at auction and because it had a current inspection sticker, he chose not to have it reinspected ... here, I should point out that ALL Dealers are required by Viginia Law to have each and every single vehicle in their inventory inspected between the time it is added to their inventory and the time it is sold. Were they working together to sell this worthless vehicle? I don`t know, but it does seem rather coincidental to me. You`ll have to make up your own minds. I tried to work with the dealer over all these issues, and despite his false advertising and use of deceptive practices to sell the vehicle, he refuses to work with me because he sold the vehicle `as is`, which only covers my ability to force him to pay for any mechanical work that`s needed. He is still civilly responsible for his false advertising and use of deceptive practices, and I`m currently talking with an attorney with regard to a civil lawsuit. Good luck to anyone who decides to purchase a vehicle from this place.
