took my 2001 pontiac ftp 8100 to dealer for a recall on valve cover gasket left bank only for repairs.they said i should replace the right while in or left side.i paid for that side.14 monts both sides are leaking and manifold leaking also.dealer said sorry recall was done ya but done wrong buy local poniac dealer in johnson city tn.they said we don`t know it was don wrong we need to do a diagnostics at a cost of $80... view more.00.ya right we all know how that works.asked if i had to pay for repairs it would be around$1100..00 to fix.i have had 4 questionable services don by the pontiac dealer(now a gmc dealer).i took my poniac to FRED`S AUTO REPAIR IN PINEY FLATES TN .i have been their before for ac check he spent his time checking my system out said it was fine NO CHARGE wow never had that happen at mr. good wrench .back to valve cover gaskets and manifold he said it would be $550-$600 for repair took him one day done wright the first time and he cleaned my engine like new ,GET THIS HE CHARGED me less than quoted.this is unheard of these days a honest nice guy .IF YOU NEED AUTO WORK DONE GO TO THIS GUY YOU WON"T` BE DISAPOINTED .
