Tow Truck Nightmare!
BE CAREFUL! My husband and I used Century Towing again since we had used them before in the past.
This turned out to be a complete nightmare. The tow truck driver picked my vehicle up and delivered it to the body shop as I requested. Once the driver began letting my vehicle off the back of the flatbed, the driver is now inside of my vehicle letting it down, all at once the wire along with the hook used to secure... view more the vehicle got stuck underneath the front of my vehicle bumper. The mechanic at the body shop where my vehicle was towed immediately began to inform the Century driver to STOP! The mechanic even assisted the driver by lifting the front end of my vehicle in order to prevent the hook from ripping the entire bumper. By now my bumper is detached on the front driver side and cracked. I asked the driver if was going to call back to Century headquarters and advise a Manager what occurred, the driver then walked off and asked the mechanic of the body shop where my vehicle was towed if he could use his tools. I then contacted Century headquarters myself and spoke with a Manager who asked to speak with the driver. The driver walked back to his truck and was on the telephone with someone who I assumed to be his Manager. Suddenly, the driver starts pulling off and left the scene. I contacted the Police department in our County. This resulted in a report being filed and my witness gave his statement explaining what occurred.
Finally, two days after attemping to get in touch with the insurance company about this tow truck driver who damaged my vehicle and willingly left the scene without any ethical professionalism, not to my surprise the Manager at Century Towing gave the Police officer FALSE! insurance information over the telephone. This has been nothing but a total nightmare. I only decided to use Century since I had used them prior. Not only did the driver not care about the damages done nor did the Manager care about their company ethics.
