The idiot who left the first review must not understand that all repair shops make profit on parts and profit on labor. That`s the business model. If people want to buy their own parts and have them installed at my shop my labor rate goes up 30%. and there`s is no warranty on them.

Rip Off

Recently had repair work done at Dave`s Auto, the vehicles fixed, and what little I had in savings is gone due to the $800+ bill. That`s what Dave quoted me, but I have to say with the internent the price of the parts is not a mystery, so when they are marked up 50% MORE then what I could have bought them for, I have to feel ripped off. I`m sure Dave was aware since he wouldn`t show me a reciept for warranty purpos... view morees. I only paid about $200 more then I should have. So if you have an extra $200 go to Dave`s Auto. He`s real nice and will gladly rip you off with a smile. I just can`t express how irritated I am. That`s groceries and gas for a week for my family, I guess I`ll just tell the kids to make do. I`ll never have his shop service anything of mine again.
