Today I took my 1942 Nash to Master Muffler in Sandy on 700 East. All I needed was to rehang a tail pipe. The service person was going to pull my car on to lift. I told hi, I would do it but he said""No I can Do IT"" so I told him OK the car was idling and he pushed the clutch all the way to the floor board engaged the starter and a terrible grinding noise came from the engine> I told him what he had done and he sai... view mored ""Do You Know What I Don`t Have to work on your car"" then went back into the shop. I drove away to my home when I tried to start the car again the Bendix Spring on the starter was broken. I called Craig and told him and he had no concern. I informed him that I will be getting it fixed and my attorney would sen him the bill. This is great customer care.

I took my Trailblazer in and had them take care of the front end . They did a great job it was making terrible noises every time I put on the brakes. They recomended that I replace the strut holders, struts and the bushings. When they finished with my car and I drove it, it felt like a new car. The bathrooms where clean and over all I was very impressed with my experience that I had. I would recommend Master Muffler to any one that asked me. They seemed to care about me and didn`t want to fix things that were not needing to be fixed. I like the location of the shop also. You can jump on trax and go shopping while your car is being fixed. Other Master Mufflers of Utah I believe are okay. Some are franchises, others are corporately owned. In 2005, I brought my life-time warranted, rusted out, muffler (purchased at the Sandy location) to be replaced at the downtown Salt Lake City shop. This location (the owner-manager) lied on the condition of my tail pipe describing a non-existent split of the seam and gave me two grossly inflated replacement part c... view moreosts--whether custom built or shipped from out of state. Local auto parts stores quoted a replacement tail piece at a small fraction of his price. Furthermore when I asked for the upgrade cost to a MagFlow, again the price was triple what I would pay at a local auto parts store. I rejected the business of this shop and took the warrantee work to the Murray location which was fairly priced and like myself was unable to find the split seam in the tail pipe. I called the corporate office to complain only to be rebuffed with a protectionist posture for their downtown location.

I have used Master Muffler twice in the last 6 months for two seperate vehicles and they have done a spectacular job on both. One was a standard muffler that they upgraded for $25.00 to a performance style. The other was a custom job on a 4runner that was a very technical job and although it took them more time than they estimated they held to their price. Trust them Andy
