Tires are tires, so where I go is typically based on price and service. I went to Burt Brothers based on the recommendation of a colleague and now can`t imagine taking my business there again. I had set up the purchase/installation of my tires the day before by phone and indicated the need to get in and out. I was told it would be no more than 45 minutes. Upon arriving, I reiterated that need and was told that it`d ... view morebe no problem. 1 h and 20 min later, I finally got to drive out of the lot with new tires. Correspondingly, when paying for the tires I was charged for the $24/tire, tire protection plan - without even inquiring as to whether this was something I even wanted. They did promply refund my money, but I thought the practice of assuming I wanted it was quite odd. Futhermore, now I get to go back and have them re-balance the tires due to the steering wheel now shaking as I`m driving. One of these issues seperately probably wouldn`t preclude me from going back, but experiencing all three at one time, and on my first visit, certainly will. I will say this, they were quite friendly throughout the whole process.
