AAAAA++ Service and Courtesy

I have used Friendswood Car Care for most of my car service for the past several years. I have always felt like that they were shooting straight with me. Their pricing is competitive and their work is the best. They have always stood by their work even when their warranty period has passed. They have fixed air conditioning, brake, cooling, automatic windows and electrical problems for me and they have done typical tu... view moreneups and oil changes as well. I have also noticed that when I was sitting in their waiting area that they were very responsive and courteous to everyone that walked through the door. Someone describing their problems using terms such as ""thing ma a bob or little dealy "" received the same level of courtesy and help as someone knowing exactly what the problem was and what effort was needed to fix the problem.

Wouldn`t go anywhere else.

My father was worried about his breaks squealing. This shop was a little far for him to drive by him self. The owner picked up his car and brought it in. After checking everything out he topped off the fluid and explained that the breaks were fine and that some times in Houston they just squeal. Dad got the car back, No charge!. Terrible!

I wasted $300.00 trying to get my air conditioner fixed. They started changing unnecessary parts. I finally gave up on them and took it somewhere better. They really disappointed me.

They do not conduct good business

The owner is rude. His empolyees(or possibly the owner) will steal things out of your car. They turned my fiance away when all he needed was an oil change and they were open for serveral more hours!! They do not conduct good business here............go next door to Mustang Auto, the do better business!!

THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

I am writing this as a warning to ANYONE, especially a female who might feel like she can`t stand up for herself. My sister brought her car in today and they told her what was wrong. She told them to go ahead and fix it. When she brought the car back, she came in and told me that she thinks the adjustor for the steering column is gone. I go and check it out. It is set on the highest setting, all the way up to the... view more dash and I can`t find it either. I tell her to take it back and tell them she can`t get the column down. They told her it was broken. She told them then they broke it because they are the ones who raised it all the way up to begin with. The OWNER said it was her word against the tech`s word and the most they could do is CHARGE HER almost $400 for a steering column and not charge labor. WHAT?? DO NOT EVER BRING YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE, they are crooks of the worst kind, only helping to make women feel more uncomfortable in dealings with auto mechanics. I am telling everyone I know, this is HORRIBLE.

MUCH better than my BMW Dealership!

I have now taken my car to BMW to get ""warranty work"" done, and they did the work, and then told me that there was another $3000 worth of work that needed to be done or the sensors would start coming on, and that I would be having horrible problems. This is RIGHT before Christmas and I so couldn`t spend that kind of money. So I drove my car over to Rick at Friendswood Car Care, and left my car, waiting for the ba... view mored news. I was told, they couldn`t find what BMW was talking about and charged me JUST for the oil change that I needed. I was so happy. I even asked them to look at my brakes, just to make sure that they were good, and was told I had at least 6000 miles left on them. We can change them now, because it`s here, or we can wait 6 months when you might have more cash. LOVE that!

I ended up taking my car back to BMW this weekend, and sure enough, they did the warranty work, and then wanted $2000 in other repairs. These of course aren`t even related to the ones that they said were wrong only a month ago. I just called Friendswood Car Care back, and was told ""sure"" bring it in, and I will look at it, but I don`t think you have any problems.

It is SO nice as a woman, to have a car care place that won`t LIE to me about what is wrong with my car. Great place and better service.

fast, efficient, friendly service.

What can I say? Fast, efficient, friendly service. Even though I used one of their promotional cards, I think the price they have posted is very reasonable. They topped up my windshield fluid with a oil change. Went the xtra mile without charging me. I initially brought in my own engine oil because I had a specialized car but it turns out that they did carry that kind of engine oil and at a lower price. Im happy with... view more the service.

I went to Friendswood Car Care to get some work done. Everyone was very friendly, customer area was nice. They inspected my car in order to give me a rough cost, and it was way more than I expected. They gave me a written quote which had parts and labor separated, and their labor rate was pretty standard.
