My mom swears by this shop. I was a believer, had $1200 AC replaced, left town and 5 weeks later AC is no more. Husband figured out there was a leak in the system. Greg said he did not replace the drier valve when he replaced, husband asked if he did a leak check he said yes but can not figure out how he could not see a leak. Anyway, had to have the valve replaced ($3.99) and refilled with coolant. Not happy, a part ... view morethat would have cost $3.99 to replace at the time if a $1200.00 fix was not replaced? This just does not make sense to me. So happy ending of a 2 state travel with no AC and 2 kids in the middle of the summer, AC fixed but not because of Greg`s. BTW. Greg did offer to refund us the cost of the coolant but not sure if he will actually pay the bill, will be sending next week and will update post. Also, my mom still swears by his work. Maybe for those that live in the area and never leave he is great but did not work out for us.

Quality Work - go see Greg`s

We moved to New Braunfels and I needed to find a repair shop to do stuff on my truck or cars. Note I already do 95% of my own work on my truck and cars. The only time I use a garage, is when I have no time or the proper equipment to do the work. The good: I have used Gregs twice on my truck (timing belt and rear axle seal/bearings) and once on our son`s truck (major overhaul for a long trip) and I can say they pro... view moreduced excellent repairs. They were able to explain both in layman`s terms and expert terms - so you know what happened and how it was repaired. Quick note - when we were doing the major overhaul on our son`s truck, they gave options on what would be necessary and what we really do not need repaired. There are a few garages that would do that. The bad (sort of): The only thing is that their prices is based off the standard repair rates from the dealers. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

I CAME IN, AFTER MY CAR BREAKING DOWN WHILE ME TRYING TO GET HOME TO HOUSTON BECAUSE OF A FAMILY EMERGENCY, NEEDING MY ALTERNATOR CHANGED. THEY SAID THEY HAD TO GO TO SAN ANTONIO TO GET AN ALTERNATOR, WHICH WAS A LIE CUZ I FOUND ONE AT 3 OTHER SHOPS AND THEY WOULD ONLY USE THE ONE THEY WANTED TO... I GOT CHARGED $650 FOR A NEW ALTERNATOR AND 3 BELTS!!!! THIS IS A $400 JOB!
