Amp research steps were installed less than 6 months (on a truck less than a year old). Customer complained that the passenger side made a different sound than the driver side when it retracted. We took a look at it and contacted amp research. They suggested a few things to look for and try but neither one fixed the "issue". They eventually sent us out new motors for the steps. We had no control over the time it took... view more amp research to send us the part. Customer was told he would be contacted when we had the part in hand. He was never called because he made sure and called almost on a daily basis and was told the same thing every time. The motor was replaced a week or two ago.

sorry customer service

They tell you they gonna call you, but never do. Plus takes years to order parts from them. Never doing work with them again!
