Horrible Customer Service

I sent an email to the Parts Dept asking for pricing information on parts I wanted to purchase for my s60 and received a reply. Last week, I had the part installed on the car and when I went to pick it up, the price had increased from $56.02 to $264.00 without any information stating that the price had increased. I talked with the Parts Rep., who sent me the quote who stated he didn`t remember the email nor quoting... view more the $56.02 and worst yet, he would not committ to honoring the price he quoted. When I returned home, I sent an email attaching the quote and Volvo of Houston is still refusing to honor the original quoted amount citing ""we`d lose money on the part."" A reputable business would honor the cost at the risk of losing a customer when they have made a mistake; the quote didn`t include any verbiage regarding the pricing being available for a limited amount of time and have only offered to give me the part at the price they`d pay for it. The Parts Manager intimated that honoring the $56.02 would affect their ability to stay in business, come on, not only is that not factual, it solidifies that they are not honorable.
