Austin`s most unfriendly business

I took my vehicle to this location for an issue I had with a tire I recently purchased. Now, granted, I did not purchase the tire from this company, I went in with a warranty issue as instructed by the company that provides warranty service for the tires I bought. I had all applicable paperwork in hand, went to the counter and talked with a ""gentleman"" (I`ll get to this later) to tell him my problem. The tire ha... view mored a major problem with a large bubble on the sidewall of the tire (the beading was actually exposed, leading me to believe it was not installed properly) and before I could finish the sentence, he interrupted with ""well you must have hit something, that`s the ONLY way something like that can happen."" Um, no. There are a few different possibilities, but how would you even know if you didn`t even bother to LOOK at the tire? He then asked me ""What do you want us to do about it? You have warranty paperwork from a different company and you want us to honor it?"" Now, had he taken the 30 seconds to actually call the warranty phone number I had in hand (which gets me through to an actual person) he would have been instructed that the company was going to work with him and it was a win-win. However, instead this jerk decided not to earn any new business and instead upset someone who takes customer service very seriously and will go to the top of his company to ensure they hear about this experience so nobody else has to experience this. I took my vehicle to Firestone on IH35 and they couldn`t have been better. AVOID AVOID AVOID this particular location of NTB at all costs. This is also my first (and last, unless they try to make it right) experience with their company.
