When I purchased a 1996 Lexus, it was not leaking oil. I invested in rack and pinion repair, dash warning light repair and thought it prudent to invest in preventative maintance, which Guarantee Automotive said, was done costing a total of $1,349.41
The day after I brought the car home after being ?ˆ?repaired?ˆ? by Guarantee Automotive, I noticed a large pool of oil underneath the car. I took the car to the Lexus De... view morealership who washed the engine because the excessive oil around the engine, at that point, they couldn?ˆ™t tell where it was leaking. The dealership asked me to return the car later so they could recheck the engine for leaks.
I returned the car to the Lexus dealership and was given an estimate starting at $810.76 I showed the Lexus dealership the receipt I had received from Guaranteed Automotive to show the ?ˆ?work?ˆ? that had been done. The Lexus dealership recommended that I take their estimate to Guarantee Automotive thinking the owner, Gerald Mitchell, would honor the work that had not been done properly. The Lexus dealership also took pictures to show where it is leaking.
I gave the owner of Guaranteed Automotive a chance to complete the job correctly but he was unwilling to do so. Evan after I showed him the estimate from Lexus!
The Lexus Service Manager tried calling the owner but Gerald Mitchell didn?ˆ™t return his calls?
This gives me no choice but to see the Owner, Gerald Mitchell in court. I would never take my car there again.

These guys aarae the best and treat women fair!
I`ve brought my car here on a number of occassions and these guys are always very kind and honest. No outrageous ""diagnostic"" fees like other shops in the area like McSpaddens. My Acura MDX now has 150,000+ miles on it and is starting to have issues but the fixes have fortunately been minor so far. Best Auto Repair & Customer Service
I saw the review below and knew I needed to set the record straight. I have used Guaranteed Automotive 5 times now and have been sending others who have had the same experience. I don`t usually recommend people or businesses because I don`t want the reponsibility. I will make an exception for Guaranteed.

I have now used Guaranteed Automotive 5 times for everything from minor to major car repairs. I happened up... view moreon the business by accident looking for another place recommended to me. When it comes to honesty and customer service, it doesn?ˆ™t get any better than Guaranteed Automotive and its owner Gerald. I made the first decision to go to Guaranteed because he gave me the best price for a timing belt and new water pump. I had quotes from 2 other places and had had the work done twice before. (I have been using Toyota 4Runners for my work vehicle for 14 years.) When he did the timing belt and water pump he did a couple of other small things at my request and my bill was the same as what he wrote down for the quote for the first time. I have since been back for other things and it is the same experience every time.

My neighbor recently went some place for a repair and that shop wanted $89.00 just to check it out. He called me and I sent him to Guaranteed.

My wife?ˆ™s car had the ?ˆ?Check Engine?ˆ? warning light come on and was worried about it. She went to the same place as our neighbor (not aware of his experience) and walked away when quoted the $89.00 to check it out. She went to another place that had a 3 hour wait to look at the car. Then she remembered my taking my car to Guaranteed Automotive and went there. Gerald calmed her down, walked out to the car with her, and hooked up the device for analyzing the check engine codes. He found the problem and told her that he didn?ˆ™t do that work but gave her a place to go that could and would not over charge her. He also told her it was not an emergency and she would probably be ok for another year or 2 before getting the repair done. My wife is as discerning as they come when it comes to customer service. She called me and said she understands now why I raved so much about Gerald and Guaranteed Automotive. She says that is the only place she will take her car in the future.

I have sent 3 more converts to Guaranteed and all are happy. Guaranteed Automotive got my attention by having the best price. But they won my loyalty and support by their customer service and doing what they say they will.

HUGE WASTE OF TIME & MONEY!!
Warning! Watch out for this place!! I took my truck in for a brake job. Furnished them with my own brand new green stuff pads, and SS brake lines that I had purchased through Summit. Also asked for a full flush. Only 1 problem, when they took my rotors off..they did NOT turn them! They then reassembled my complete brake system with the unturned warped rotors. Why? I have no idea. 5 days later they call to say my truc... view morek is finished. With the new pads & the brake-in material up against old warped rotors..the problem is now 5 times as bad! And to top it all off the brake lines are now leaking too! Apparently even the mechanic that did the work told someone that the rotors should be turned..but it wasn`t done. Wasted $550 (PLUS THE COST OF MY PARTS) on these guys & I still have to buy new parts & do the work over myself (so I know it will be done correctly this time.) We aren`t the only ones to have problems with the quality of work at this place..so be very careful doing business with them.
NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!!

I have only good things to say
My husband and I have both taken our vehicles here (2006 ford f250 and 2001 Expedition) and have had great service. i had one quote from another place down the road for for my a/c for $1500. Guarantee got it running for me for $500. My husban`d repair was only $68. I`ve never taken a car anywhere and left for $68 for anything! Wannna throw your money down the drain....he`s your man
They mis-diagnosed the problem....then further damaged my truck. After multiple efforts to get them to correct the issue, they tried to put blame on my tires needing balanced. When we got them balanced, and the issue was still there, they suggested we find another mechanic. All this, after he received over $1300 from us! COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY USELESS
Utterly USELESS! I popped in to have my car looked at and because I couldn`t leave the car (having no way home) they asked me to come back the next day at 8am. So sure enough - went to great trouble to be there AT 8am only to be told that they couldn`t look at it and wouldn`t be able to get to it until 10:30 or 11am.
