I had a friend buy a car from this place at the recommendation of the owner`s son of all people. She bought a car from them, paying way too much in the process, and one day later the check engine light came on. She visited a mechanic who told her the problem was related to the 4th gear, which matched up with her experience in having trouble shifting gears around 45mph. The alternator needed a full replacement if ... view morethe car was going to work properly. Upon telling the dealers this and surrendering the car to their care for a full day, she came back to pick it up and they insisted nothing was wrong with it. The seat hadn`t even been moved from the nearly impossible position she keeps it at for any of their mechanics to even sit in the car. Eventually they admitted the car wasn`t going to work right without spending thousands of dollars on it and offered her another car on the lot. There weren`t many options though, since there was only one other car in her price range, which I find pretty hard to believe. After less than an hour of owning this new car, she says it`s making a funny noise and the check engine light is on. We`ll see what happens now, but it isn`t looking good.
