They don`t give a Quote

Just called just brakes and wanted a estimate to replace a drivers side rear caliper . They quoted me a price of $66.00 to replace said caliper and $39.00 to bleed the brakes .Both prices are resonable .But when you ask for a price on the Caliper itself they will not give you a set price .they say " I won`t know what caliper it needs until i get it off". That is a out and out lie. I gave them all the neciss... view moreary info on the make /model and engine size.there is only 1 part available for my said Make/model. I looked up my part on several auto part web sites. The tactic is used by dishonest garages .they get the car in ,up on the rack, they replace the part and charge you an outrageous price for the part.I know this because i used to work in the Biz. I never liked how the Managers hoodwinked the public.

99.88 rip off

I went in to get a basic brake job done for their special 99.88 and was told that on top of the pads needing replacement I needed to replace the calibers and pistons as well as the master cylinder. All of this was going to come out to 800.00. Since I have not heard of this before or have had problems with my brakes I called a mechanic that I know. The mechanic informed me of several questions to ask Just Brakes conce... view morerning the condition of the calibers and master cylinder. Just Brakes never answered the questions they gave me the run around and explained what would happen if I did not replace them. My mechanic gave me instructions on how the calibers should look if they needed replacement and mine looked fine. I got home to look at other reviews for Just Brakes and I have come across many unhappy customers that have been in this same situation. I do not recommened them to anyone.
