Knowledgable, Professional, really helped me get the right repair out of my insurance company...

I damaged the front end of my new Honda Civic. My insurance company, although very friendly and easy to work with, convinced me to use ""refurbished"" parts. They also wanted me to use thier ""concierge"" service and body shop. Some yellow flags went up in my mind so I did some asking around and decided to take my car to Custom Car Crafters which came highly recommended and was also near my house. It`s been my experi... view moreence that even the best body shop may need to take a second pass so having them close is nice.

I`m glad I did. Dan, the manager, had a long meaningful conversation with me and eventually we got a New bumper out of my insurance company. The repair looks perfect! I looked at some other work with used bumpers and it might be OK for some but not for me... my car is only a 2006 and I don`t want blemishes introduced with used body panels.

These guys were also very friendly and did all the ground work with my insurance company. My advice is not to accept used body parts when working with your insurance company. Some rebuilt parts, eg non-moving parts, might be OK... might. But in general I`ve learned that insurance companies are saving money by pushing used parts on consumers.

I don`t believe this is what many of us think we are paying for. Used parts are well... used. Kudos to Custom Car Crafters for helping me avoid this common pitfal. Thanks again!
