STAY AWAY, unorganized dealership will waste a full day if you try to buy a car. Then will tell you we dont have financing. Then you go to the Ford Dealership and buy a car with no problem!! SERVICE DEPARTMENT SUCKS ALSO! they rip you off!!

Easy to buy online treated me like a person. I Moved to the westside of Houston less than two years ago and had used two different Chevy service departments, one closer to my house and the one next to my office. Both did fine for a warranty repairs and oil changes. I had seen the new White Diamond color on the Tahoe`s and fell in love. Lets just say the Car business is alive and well. I then went online expecting to be treated better and was floored by the same attitude from two different places mind you. Half a dozen emails and two unwelcomed phone calls and still no prices just offers for test drives. I Own a Tahoe now, I know how they drive, I just want a newer one with some more bells. Anyway one of the other ladies in my office told me about Davis Chevrolet. She and her husband had bought cars from them over the years. I checked them out online and sent in a request. Steve dropped me a text back confirming color, and then sent me a price in line with what I had came up with kbb and edmunds. Its not over yet see, I shopped them back with the other guys just to make sure. Well that backfired. I waited too long and by the time I was ready to do the deal Davis had sold the one I was trying to buy. My fault I know I dragged my feet. Steve was Great however and found another Tahoe in the area and traded for it and since it was the close to the same MSRP he did the same deal. No added charges. While none of this should be newsworthy I was impressed and wanted others to know. My thanks to Steve and the staff of Davis Chevrolet

Davis Chevrolet is the worst....

Davis Chevrolet is the worst.... I had the worst experience trying to buy an auto. The quickest part was them getting my money in finance. The whole process took over 8hrs. and I paid cash for my car. Then I get a call three days later asking my to come back to the dealer ""to sign the title""... I asked where was it when I was there for eight hours. the problem with websites like this is only the disappointed people write a review. I have purchased several vehicles from Davis chevrolet (employees used to work a courtesy chevrolet) and have had my vehicles all serviced there. I get treated like a king. I get the best, no BS prices when I purchase. The service dept. treats me better than mercedes or Porsche. They are the best dealership in Houston. Davis Chevrolet is a Dud!

Recommendations:
Make sure you know what car want (know all the features) when you walk into Davis- they will try to put you in a vehicle that is on their lot.
Have patience- you will wait a long time and they do not give you personalized attention. (It took 5 days to close our deal.)
Make sure you get everything in writing. Charles cannot back up his ""handshake"" deals.
Don`t fall for the ""dealership v... view mores. MSRP"" price spiel. Talk with their fleet folks for a better deal.
Don`t give them ANY information unless you plan on buying from them. They conducted an unauthorized credit check on me.
