I was trying really hard to buy a used car from the owner of this 1 man operation. He was willing to help me out until I asked if he could drop this car off at a dealer for a 2nd opinion. The car had been wrecked and he did all the repairs himself. Not that I don`t trust him, but I was buying from out of state and I`m not stupid. I told him I`d pay cash for the car if the dealership ok`d it. He said he would abs... view moreolutely not take this car to a dealer and would rather sell it to someone else.
