I have been battling with this shop since September! I paid them to put a rebuilt engine and a header in my truck. The engine and the work was bad. There was nothing but problems once I got the truck back (which was over a month.) Then, the truck had to be towed back to the shop after it started throwing rods and smoking!!! The only thing I can say that would make A+ better is if they had more locations. These guys are excellent! They do not beat around the bush. You may not like what they tell you the problem is, but they are straight foward and 100% on the money. I just moved here from Texas and usually use Firestone or Goodyear. I felt I was getting over charged and drove by this place. Turns out Firestone was completely wrong about what was wrong with my car. The missfire on my car was from a fuel pump not a catalytic converter and a tune up. I wish I could give these guys a 100 stars! I had my vehicle scanned at a local shop in town and they had told me the I needed to replace my evap canister and 2 sensor
a quote of $861.33. I passed buy this place on my way home saw their open sign on at 8pm (un heard of). I went in showed them the quote from the other shop and they took my vehicle in the back scanned the car and then asked my permission to do a smo... view moreke test on my car. Well the smoke test found a broken line they replaced the line and after a few days nolonger any problems. $120.00 V`s $861.33 any day is great. I had all but given up on finding a mechanic that I can say I truly trust - until now. I was referred to A+ Automotive from an already happy customer who said, ""Jonathan will find it, fix it - and for a reasonable price."" Now, we`re also happy customers and thrilled with the work done on my husband`s car. We were in a position to really get ripped off with the symptoms our car`s motor had - and likely would have been by most shops - but not Jonathan. He found every issue, fixed them and went above and beyond in everything he did to our car. The car is running fantastic now! Jonathan fixed multiple issues & even saved us from getting big-time ripped off on front-end work that we almost had done at another company. Wow, I wish we had found Jonathan many years ago. I have been shopping around for a few weeks only to stumble across these guys. I recieved nothing but honest pricing and a honest repair. These guys got right on my vehicle and repaird for much less than I had been quoted by other places. It took me 3 weeks to write this just incase there was a problem with the repair. I took my car to A+automotive on the 16th of December, I have a receipt from ATT for the wrecker service that towed my car to their shop. I stopped by and he said to me bring it over here so we can see what it is, so I had it towed to their shop on the 16th, It sat in their yard for a week before he got it in the shop,. He told me the transmission was frozen up and a rebuilt one was $2152.19 and I told him I didn`... view moret have that much money, but I sold to shotguns and came up with $1500.00 and he would carry the rest until the 3rd of January. after a couple of weeks the car was supposed to be fixed. His mechanic drove it and said it run great. I picked it up and drove about 3 miles and it was jumping and I took it back and got the mechanic and told him I wanted him to ride with me and he did and it started jumping and sputtering, and he said you can`t hurt it to drive it, it needs a selonied and he said bring it back to me on Sunday and I will fix it and there will be no charge it is on me. I stood there and watched him put the transmission in the car it took about 3 hours of we watching for him to get the trainsmission in that is why I t hought they were fixing it. I did not know at this time they had sent the car out to get it fixed. Well when I took it back is when all the trouble started. Jonathan said he did not know where the car was at, it was in Hendersonville somewhere but he didn`t know where. His mechanic took it over there. I went by several times over the next 4 weeks and there was always some excuse, his mechanic was over there all day long working on it, the parts didn`t come in. It was one excuse after another. I was in there one day and there was a policeman across the street from his place and I walked over there and asked the policeman if he would come to A+ with me and he said he would be there in a minute, so I walked back in to wait on him and Jonathan told me to leave. When the policeman came I explained to him the problem and Jonathan told me to leave again and I said I wasn`t leaving until I got my car, I had already paid him, and the police said I needed to leave so I did. Outside of the building the police said it sounded like I needed to get an attorney. We went to the police station the next day and another policeman went went us to A+ and he also stated he had had several complaints about A+ Automotive and when we went to A+ the officer told Jonathan the same thing that they had several complaints about them. Anyway when we went to pick the car up the car was not at his place and the officer told him we would be back tomorrow and if the car wasn`t there it would be reported as a stolen vehicle and he would be responsible. He then told me there was another $575.00 owed and that had to be paid before we picked the car up. I called my sister in Columbia SC and she called him and gave him her credit card information over the phone and he processed it that day. We went back the next day with the same police officer went us and paid the other $652.19 and picked the car up. It took 6 weeks and 3 days to get the car back and as of Feb 13, 2012 the car doesn`t have any REVERSE in it, and I have a 3 year warrenty on the repair but I am afraid to take it back to him to have him fix the REVERSE GEAR in it. I guess I will have to take it to another transmission place. I am under Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and it is very differicult to do.

I like many people have been to many repair shops in my life. I have a lot of respect for Jonathan and his great team. Not only did they replace my engine within a couple of days they took the time to put wire covers on all the wires, and cleaned everything up. These guys are very good. They cut through the chase and let you know what is really wrong with your vehicle and fix what needs to be fixed. They could have sold me on many things I am not a car guy. I did look up what the repaired and it was exactly what they repaired. I was only able to look it up because of the information they explained to me about the repair. I will send them everyone

I have had several cars serviced at A Plus and have found the owner to be fair, honest, and reliable. He has saved me a lot of money with his advice. The repairs have always been done well and completed on time. It`s good to have a place to take your car where you know you won`t be ripped off. I highly recommend A Plus for any automotive service!
