They painted my car once in Bristol and I had to take it back because of they taped down the crome while the paint was wet.I didn`t get what I paid for.It wasn`t Clear Coated and I paid for it. the crome was not taped off good and they painted it. The repairs was not made like we agreed to.I need the car painted again but they want do it unless they change.I don`t understand why Maaco let him carry their name.

I live in Atkins Virginia and travel over an hour to get to Bill McConnell`s paint shop in Kingsport Tn. My Honda Accord looked brand new and I recieved many compliments. My mother had her car painted, my daughter and 2 neighbors. We all are very satisfied!!!! And truley had never met a more humble person. Bill McConnell treated all of us with respect. I had Bill McConnell`s shop to paint my truck. This is where he claims to "make bodies beautiful". I was very, very dissatisfied with the paint job. It had numerous runs and bubbles in the paint. After a week, bubbles appeared on my roof and over my fenders where body work was supposed to be done. My running boards were supposed to be pulled off to repair my fenders, but they were not. You could pull ... view moreon the fender skirts and see where the spray was and that they had not been removed. I complained to Bill and showed him the mistakes. He said what was I expecting a $7,000.00 paint job??? He began cussing and raving. He said that this was America and that he had been in business since 1958 and he could say anything to anybody. He used all sorts of profainty. In all my years, I had never been talked to like that, much less by a owner of a business to a customer!! I will never do business with a cheat like him. He advertises one thing and does another. When you complain, you get cussed out and called all sorts of dirty names. It took all of my will power from shoving my fist down his throat. I seen then what kind of a man he was and what kind of business he was running and I just left. I said that I and my friends would never be back!!! Please stay away from this business. You will be sorry if you give him your vehicle to be painted!!
