Good for tires only!

Places like this should only be able to sell tires only. I was told my Volkswagen needed a lot of work for inspection. I am car knowledgable and the items they pointed out seemed wrong. Quoted me over $1000 for fixes. Went to York Volkswagen & left with a bill of $348.29 for inspection. They employ back yard mechanics with out any expertise. I will never go back there. Try at your own risk - tires only. Definitel... view morey not anything foreign. They even told me they had an import specialist. How can you be a specialist without any training?

Overcharged after quoted prices

Called to set up an appointment for front end alignment, rotate and balance for a Dodge truck. Was given a price and told it would take about an hour and half to an hour and forty minutes - made the appointment. Went in and waited. Approximately two and a half hours later, the vehicle was ready. Was told they had trouble putting the weights on because of the special rim and tires on the vehicle. The rims were fa... view morectory installed, so nothing special there and goodyear tires. Cost was $30 over price I was quoted. When I questioned the difference in the cost, their answer was that I misunderstood the price and it was $10.95 per tire, not $10 for 4 tires. I asked if they would give me a price break and they flat out said no and that if I wanted they could take the weights off and I could bring it to another place and see if I could find someone to balance my tires for $10.
Needless to say I do not plan to return for any type of service. Patrons beware!
