I was truly disappointed with ...

I was truly disappointed with my visit today. I called on Monday asking for a price on my rear brakes on my car. I was quoted a starting price and told that I could bring my car in and leave it. I said that I needed to wait for it so we made a Thursday (4/21/11) appointment for 5:00 p.m. I decided to bring my car in on Tuesday morning at 8:15 a.m. and leave it. I told this young lady my name and make, model of m... view morey car and she asked me if I had made an appt with her earlier. I said yes, that I had made the appt. for Thursday but decided to bring it in today and leave it to have my rear brakes installed. While I was talking the phone rang and she answered it. She was speaking to someone on the phone for five (5) minutes. After she hung up, she said that she would look up my appt for Thursday and I told her that I had someone waiting to give me a ride to work. She verified my information and said that they would call me with an estimate of the work. I called Pep Boys at 2:00 p.m. and again at 3:00 p.m. and was told each time that I was next in line. I called again at 4:00 p.m. and again at 6:15 p.m. and was told that I was next in line. I went to Pep Boys at 7:15 p.m. and noticed that my car had not been moved from where I parked it that morning and I asked for my keys and the young man apologized that my car had not been attended to. I have used Pep Boys over the years in Gretna, LA for years and am well acquainted with the quality service, good pricing and friendly staff. I expected and received this on a previous visit to Pep Boy at 4949 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109 (717)657-4441. This visit was such a great disappointment and I feel that it was largly due to the rudeness of the young lady that waited on me that morning. I will not recommend that store to anyone.
