I have no idea what familyman62 is talking about. First time I ever dealt with Pete and P&L was just a little over 2 years ago, my thermostat and radiator in my PT Cruiser leaked, or blew up or over heated .. Anyways I was losing my job and certainly couldn`t afford an expensive repair bill, A friend of my mother`s recommended I see Pete and ask him if he`d mind if I bought the parts myself so Id only be charged ... view morelabor. Not only did Pete allow me to do that, he also flushed out my coolant fluid (wrong one was in the car) and replaced it with the right one...FREE OF CHARGE. He calls me to tell me the car is finished and I tell him I wouldn`t be able to pick it up until 6:30p.m. an hour and a half after the shop closes, he stayed there alone and kept the shop open waiting on me to get there... More recently Ive had some transmission problems with the cruiser and I have gone back and forth with this damn car all summer to Pete...He and His family have never made me feel like I was bothering them, he stands behind his work, He`s been nothing but nice to me and I recommend him to EVERYONE who complains something is up with their wheels. He reminds me alot of my dad, Italian Guy from New York who pulls no punches and calls a spade a spade, i appreciate it. I trust Pete, and here in this state it`s hard to find a good mechanic..I recommend P&L HIGHLY

I am very sorry to hear about the previous person`s experience. However, I can not imagine Pete EVER telling someone he would beat them up. In fact, I have never had anything but pleasant, understanding and helpful, honest experiences there. This has been from them staying after hours to help, to calling me and explaining every detail, to "throwing in something" at no cost. The entire family is great and I never feel taken advantage of and always return to P & L which thankfully for their great service is not that often.

HORRIBLE TO SAY THE LEAST. The owner Peter is unreasonable and a terrible business owner, I brought my 2004 Audi for a small repair on the brake system and without getting any approval by me the owner presented me with a $1500 bill. When i said i never approved this major repair he was extremely disrespectful and threatened to beat me up if i didn`t pay. Of course i paid the bill but will never go back there ag... view moreain. If you want to be threatened to get hurt than this is the place for you. I am almost 50yrs old and have never meet a person as disrespectful and unreasonable as this man. BAD BAD BAD BAD business.
