I was getting some unusaual noise from the vehicle so I asked my wife to take it to the Scott`s Tune-up monday morning. They asked her to take the friday appointment. My wife asked the person to call me on my cell to explain it to me. Later when I called the shop, a lady picked up the phone and then complained that I took my vehicle without an appointment. I explained that the problem occured sunday evening and it wa... view mores an unusual sound and that is why my wife took it to shop rather than drive it around not knowing what the problem is. This does not mean she wanted the mechanic to leave all other cars and fix hers. I have been to Midas, NTB, Lebzelter`s and lot of other garages during an emergency and no garages behave like this. The lady still kept on pointing out that I took the vehicle without appointment. So my conclusion.. You want a regular oil changed.. go might to them with an appointment. If you have some urgent need... DO NOT GO TO THEM IF YOU HAVE URGENT NEED. AND WITH THAT KIND OF BEHAVIOUR. I WOULD NEVER GO TO THEM AGAIN.

This place is like a perfect husband.

I never post reviews, but I actually signed up on citysearch just to post this one. Scott`s Tune Up has been my reliable, dependable ""other half."" They have been consistently honest with me about car problems, provide prompt service, and most of all, provide me with explanations without me needing to ask. I recently moved and tried to find a garage in my new town. That is when I realized that being treated like an... view more intelligent female is actually the specialty of Scott`s Tune Up and is not a universal customer approach. I recently visited PA and had a difficult car decision to make. Scott`s provided all of the information and then respected my final decision. I guess, I`ll stop writing now, but apart from my friends and my church, I miss this place the most and have kept my PA license and inspection just so that I can take the car there as long as possible.
